Object – collection – memory – story
Performative intervention 60'
What significance do we attribute to the objects we collect, their interpretations and memory traces? A temporary performative intervention in the courtyard of the Pálffy Palace will highlight aspects of the phenomenon of collecting, preserving and categorizing. It will bring to light the unstable nature of collecting narratives, subject to constant reassessment, transformation, relativization or rediscovery, depending on time, context or even emotions.
The performative intervention thematically follows the intergenerational group exhibition Sediments of the World, dealing with the phenomenon of collecting as a creative impulse, currently presented at the Bratislava City Gallery.
