The Grass Is Always Gre

A performative research on the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, between what we perceive – and what we think we perceive. The specific spatial arrangement divides the stage and the audience into two parts that are physically close, but at the same time remain hidden from each other. We see only what the space allows us – and the rest is filled in by our imagination.
The project is inspired by the phenomena of selective perception and FOMO (fear of missing out) and explores how reality bends under the influence of space, attention and expectations. Movement and composition work with illusion, construct and mystery – with what the audience knows, feels or only suspects. The result is an immersive and experimental experience in which reality merges with fiction.
